About Me: Hello, I am a mum of two working as LTFT SAS in Geris for last 6 years. I love looking after old patients and providing a MOT (CGA) wherever I can. I am a Punjabi from Pakistan and love food and travel with family.
Reason for joining the BGS Trainee’s Council:
Opportunity to know how Trainees work together as a team
Opportunity to get involved in projects
To play a part in building up Skilled workforce in Geris/GIM
To train and educate Junior doctors.
Meetings:
Hybrid Trainee Council meetings (mostly online)
Local M&M meetings, QI, Clinical Governance meetings etc
Why trainees should get involved with the committee:
To discuss common issues/interests
Hear out everyone’s views
To provide input
To get clarity on matters and moving forward
And to moan sometimes ;-)
