I have worked as a nurse for twenty years - and in care homes specifically since 2011. I now work as Lecturer in Adult Nursing at Oxford Brookes School of Nursing and Midwifery, and one of my roles is to support student nurse placements in care homes. I was awarded my DPhil in physiology from Oxford University in 2002 and am keen to use this knowledge to underpin my nursing practice, and my health writing.
