Lyndsey Dunn is a highly experienced Clinical Service Manager with over 22 years of dedicated service in NHS Scotland. Currently managing community flow and integrated discharge teams at Fife Health and Social Care Partnership, Lyndsey plays a pivotal role in enhancing patient outcomes through her expertise in community nursing and specialist services.
Her professional journey began with a Bachelor of Science in Adult Nursing from Edinburgh Napier University, after which she has taken on various roles, including Frailty Nurse in Acute Medicine and POPS (Perioperative Care of Older People Undergoing Surgery) Specialist Nurse. Lyndsey has also served as the Lead Nurse for Quality Improvement and Standards, where she was instrumental in developing policies that elevate service delivery and patient care standards.
With a special interest in the early identification and management of patients at risk of delirium, Lyndsey is passionate about person-centred discharge planning. She has shared her insights and expertise at numerous prestigious national events and webinars. Additionally, she has contributed significantly to the BGS report titled "Reablement, Rehabilitation, Recovery: Everyone’s Business," reinforcing her commitment to advancing healthcare practices.
As Chair of the BGS Nurses and AHPs Council, Lyndsey continues to advocate for innovative approaches to patient care and integrated healthcare solutions. Her extensive background and dedication make her a respected leader in the field of nursing and healthcare management.
