A BGS communities of practice online meeting - this meeting will focus on developing future Nurse and Allied Health professional leaders
These sessions will be of interest to anyone who is interested in change, making improvements or developing/honing your leadership skills. Each session is interactive with a presentation from experienced leaders in their field and an opportunity for discussion. Please bring your questions and personal experience to this group.
All Nurse and Allied Health professionals providing healthcare to older people
We’re looking forward to having you join us to learn, meet fellow healthcare professionals, and engage with our facilitators. This online meeting will be an interactive session where participants will be asked to contribute questions to the presenters.

Arguably our leadership skills develop from the point of professional registration across a whole career. How do we recognise that this is happening through our developing practice? How do we stretch those skills while seeking to enhance practice? In this session we will explore these questions together. To highlight the sometimes insidious skill development our speakers, Nicole Edwards and Lucy Lewis, will describe their development through the ongoing experience of a service improvement project. You will then have an opportunity to explore your own experiences in break-out rooms.
