All BGS Northern Ireland members are welcome at a special BGS NI Townhall meeting to sense check the implications of the ‘No More Silos’ work. In particular we want to take stock of how members are/can be involved to get a better understanding of how we represent the needs of Older People in this changing landscape.

The meeting will be facilitated by Dr Sandra Philips and myself, and we are particularly keen that colleagues involved in local or regional NMS work from across the professional groups have their voices heard.

We hope you can join us on the 24th of February at 1.00 p.m. registering via this site

Dr Mark Roberts
Chair, BGS Northern Ireland

About the Townhall
A virtual town hall meeting is an opportunity to faciliatate discussion among BGS members. This will be an opportunity to:

  • Help the Council Committees to keep local members up to date on important information on Northern Ireland developments impacting healthcare for older people.
  • Allow the membership to ask questions of the Council Committee, and wider BGS, about planned actions and give their feedback.
  • Understand the goals and values of the BGS’s local strategy and operational plan
