This event is a local forum covering the latest scientific research and the best clinical practice in care of older people. This meeting will cover core areas of interest to all specialists responsible for the health care of older people and is open to attendees from near and far.

Abstracts are encouraged and will be accepted as poster to be presented at the meeting. Posters will be assessed on the day and feedback will be provided.

Please read the instructions below before preparing your abstract. 
Your abstract must include: 
• A title 
• Names of authors (presenting author to be underlined) 
• Provenance (i.e. place of work) 
• Contact details (including telephone number, fax number and email address) The abstract text should be no longer than 300 words and must be in English. Where possible, please use the four standard sub-headings of: 

Introduction, 
Method, 
Results and 
Conclusion(s). 

You must email your abstract to scientificofficer@bgs.org.uk with title 'Yorkshire Spring Meeting Abstract Submission'.
