The objectives of this group are to:

  • Provide a focus for those in elderly care who have a particular interest in gastro-enterological and nutritional problems.
  • Facilitate, update and to encourage collaborative research and audit projects the results of which will be offered for presentation to national meetings of the society.

Non-BGS members, dieticians, endoscopy nurses and other professionals with an interest in this field are welcome to attend the meetings. Membership of the SIG is free.
